The forecast comes at a time when humidity levels have already been making conditions uncomfortable across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Apart from the above regions, several districts of Maharashtra are also expected to face intense weather conditions. Pune and Nashik are likely to witness heat wave conditions earlier in the week, particularly on May 13 and May 14, before weather conditions turn dry again.

The coastal Konkan districts, such as Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg, may receive light to moderate rain and thundershowers on May 13 and May 14. But isolated heat wave conditions are still likely to develop there on May 16.
