Four people have died, while about 25 others sustained injuries, following a boiler explosion at a chemical factory situated in the MIDC area of Mumbai's Dombivli. The explosion occurred at the premises of Amber Chemical Co., located within Phase 2 of the MIDC area.

Efforts to extinguish the resulting fire, which had spread to two adjacent buildings—including a car showroom—are expected to take approximately four hours, according to officials who spoke with NDTV. A fleet of nearly 15 fire engines was deployed to combat the blaze, with operations still in progress.
