Delhi Blast: Police To Probe Explosion As Terror Attack, Invokes UAPA

Delhi Blast Update: The Red Fort blast in New Delhi is now officially being probed as a terror attack, according to NDTV.

The Delhi Police on Tuesday have invoked Section 16 and Section 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in the Red Fort blast FIR, covering acts of terrorism and related punishment. They have also added Sections 3 and 4 of the Explosive Substances Act, along with charges of murder and attempt to murder.

According to NDTV, Jaish-e-Muhammad operatives are likely behind the attack, connected with arrests made in Faridabad and Saharanpur.
