The Centre on Thursday released the official questionnaire for the first phase of Census 2027, which is set to begin later this year. The 33-point questionnaire includes queries on an array of topics, starting primarily with the whereabouts of the respondent's place of residence.

Taking into account the changes in the society since the last Census exercise was conducted in 2011, the questionnaire this time also includes a query on whether the respondent has access to internet.
