Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has lauded the first cohort of women graduating from the National Defence Academy, calling their achievement a symbol of national resolve and timeless inspiration.
The historic moment unfolded on Friday as 17 female cadets graduated as part of the NDA's 148th course. The Passing Out Parade, held in Pune, saw the women march proudly alongside more than 300 male counterparts—marking a significant milestone in the Indian Armed Forces.
Hailing the occasion on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter Adani wrote: “Proof. Precedent. Possibility. Among the standout achievers, Division Cadet Captain Shriti Daksh topped the Bachelor of Arts stream. Cadet Lucky Kumar led in Science, Battalion Cadet Captain Prince Kumar Singh Kushwaha excelled in Computer Science, and Cadet Captain Udayveer Singh Negi ranked highest in the B.Tech stream.

“A proud day for India. A new chapter in the legacy of NDA — where courage knows no gender and leadership knows no bounds.”Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Pralhad Joshi, echoed similar sentiments. “The journey of the women in uniform is a testament to the indomitable spirit of Indian women who continue to break barriers and inspire the nation,” he wrote on X.
He added: “With unwavering resolve and sheer determination, women cadets have made history today. This momentous step reflects the strength of Nari Shakti and reaffirms our commitment to inclusivity and empowerment in our armed forces. We salute their grit, courage, and unwavering willpower.
