According to MacRumors, Apple is bringing some design changes to the iPhone 17. A new horizontal camera layout is expected to replace the vertical arrangement that has been used before. Likely, the Pro Max will still keep its premium, durable look. 

The sleek finish will combine aluminium and glass for both phones. The displays could even sport an anti-reflective coating, improving visibility under sunlight, and providing an extra scratch-resistant layer. 

Some reports say that the iPhone 17 will have a 6.3-inch screen, while the Pro Max may have an even bigger 6.9-inch display. Both models will have ProMotion technology and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate.

For the iPhone 17 series, there will likely be notable camera upgrades. For sharper selfies and better performance in low light, the front camera will be bumped up to 24MP. 

iPhone 17 may have a 48MP main sensor on the rear cameras and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with 2x zoom. Meanwhile, the Pro Max is rumoured to feature a triple camera, all 48MP for superior-quality photos.

Both the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Max are rumoured to be powered by the A19 chipset, built with 3nm technology for faster and more efficient performance. However, that does not usually happen as the base version generally ends up using a boosted, but last year's processor. Also, notably, Apple does end up rolling out a new chip with the new iPhone in an attempt to grab the fastest-smartphone-in-the-world title.

The iPhone 17 standard model will likely have 8GB of RAM, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max could include 12GB. These improvements could lead to smarter AI features, such as enhanced Siri capabilities and better multitasking.

As per MacRumors, iPhone 17 launch can happen between Sept. 11 and Sept. 13. The iPhone 17 price is said to start at Rs 79,900, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max may start at Rs 1,44,900.
