(Bloomberg) -- Two Israeli soldiers were killed and two more injured in a ramming attack in the northern West Bank on Friday, the Israeli army said.

The men, described as in their early 20s, were walking along a road outside the Mevo Dotan settlement when they were struck, Ynet said. The Palestinian driver was arrested by Israeli soldiers, the army said, describing the incident as a deliberate attack.

After the incident, Israel canceled work permits for the attacker’s extended family -- 67 in all -- the army spokesman said by text message.
