Kick's success makes Salman Khan the first Bollywood actor to have seven Rs 100 crore movies to his credit: Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, Bodyguard, Dabangg, Ready, and Jai Ho, trade analyst Taran Adarsh had said in a tweet.
Also, starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kick was released across 5,000 screens in India and as well as 42 other countries.
Kick also marks the directorial debut of Sajid Nadiadwala. With Kick, director Sajid Nadiadwala has also moved into record books. He has become the first director whose debut movie has grossed over Rs 200 crore.
Kick is a remake of the hit 2009 Telegu film of the same name and the screenplay for the Hindi version was adapted by Chetan Bhagat and Sajid Nadiadwala, who's also the director-producer of the movie. The film has been released under the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner.
