Vistara Announces Rs 999 Fares In Limited Period Offer

Vistara offer will remain open until midnight of October 7.

Vistara has joined the fare-war bandwagon, announcing all-inclusive economy class tickets as low as Rs 999 under a limited period festival offer.

Vistara also said the offer also includes tickets in premium economy and business class, which are priced from Rs 2,999 and Rs. 5,999, respectively.

The offer will remain open until midnight of October 7 and is applicable for travel between October 12, 2016, and March 28, 2017, Vistara said.  

The promotional fare of Rs 999 is applicable on Srinagar–Jammu route, the airline said. 

A check on Vistara’s website showed that Delhi-Mumbai tickets in economy class are priced around Rs 2,300 in later part of this month as compared to current levels of around Rs 5,800.

"This sale offers travellers a fantastic opportunity to fly Vistara. The sale covers not only the festive season, but also the New Year through March 2017. And as a bonus, the offers are not only for economy class, we have also got fantastic offers for premium economy and business class," Vistara Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer Sanjiv Kapoor said.

Other carriers such as SpiceJet and AirAsia India and Jet Airways have also come up with promotional offers. The discounted sale offer by these airlines goes up to April next year.

Jet Airways’s special fare offer will end on October 7. The travel period for the offer is from November 8 onwards and is applicable on direct flights only.

SpiceJet has announced all-inclusive tickets from Rs 888 on domestic routes as part of its festival sale offer.

AirAsia India too has introduced a year-end sale, offering tickets from all-inclusive Rs 899.
