City Union Bank Q4 Net Jumps Over 18% to Rs 99 Crore

Chennai: Private lender City Union Bank has reported a 18.8 per cent increase in net profits to Rs 99.07 crore for the quarter ending March 31.

Chennai: Private lender City Union Bank has reported a 18.8 per cent increase in net profits to Rs 99.07 crore for the quarter ending March 31.

The Tamil Nadu-based bank had registered a net profit of Rs 83.34 crore during the year ago period, City Union Bank said in a BSE filing.

Total income of the bank for the March quarter was Rs 793.64 crore, up from Rs 720.64 crore during same period of previous year.

For the full financial year ending March 31, net profit of the bank grew by 13.8 per cent to Rs 395.02 crore from Rs 347.07 crore during the corresponding period last year.

For the year, total income of the bank jumped to Rs 3,102.96 crore from Rs 2,825.78 crore previous year.

The Board have recommended a dividend of 110 per cent Rs 1.10 per equity share on face value of Re 1 each for the financial year 2014-15 subject to approval of shareholders.
