Singapore's High Commissioner to India, Simon Wong, marked World Biryani Day by cooking biryani for the first time. Sharing the experience on social media, he posted a video and photos of his culinary attempt and asked which Indian state has the best version of the dish.

Traditionally, this biryani is made with mutton meat but one can also make it with chicken. It is subtle in taste, flavourful, and aromatic. My favorite."
