Vivo V70, V70 Elite Price In India, Launch Offers, Specs, Features—All You Need To Know

The V70 Elite runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the V70 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.

Vivo unveiled its V70 range in India on Thursday, introducing two models: the Vivo V70 Elite and the standard Vivo V70. Pre-booking for the series has started, and it will go live for sale on vivo.com, Amazon, Flipkart and offline stores from Feb. 26.

Vivo is offering the higher-end Elite variant in three colour variants, compared to two shades for the standard edition. Both phones pack a 6,500mAh battery, run on Snapdragon processors, and feature a triple rear camera setup anchored by a 50MP main sensor.

The Vivo V70 Elite enters the Indian market with a starting price of Rs 51,999 for the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant. Stepping up to 12GB of RAM with the same storage capacity will cost buyers Rs 56,999, while the 12GB + 512GB model is priced at Rs 61,999. 

The standard Vivo V70 is available at Rs 45,999 for the 8GB + 256GB option and Rs 49,999 for the 12GB + 256GB version. As part of its launch offers, Vivo is extending up to 10% cashback for purchases made using SBI, HDFC Bank and Yes Bank cards.

Buyers opting for the Vivo V70 Elite can choose from Authentic Black, Passion Red or Sand Beige, while the more affordable V70 is limited to Lemon Yellow and Passion Red finishes.

The Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 arrive as dual-SIM smartphones running Android 16-based OriginOS 6, with the company committing to six years of security updates. Both models feature a 6.59-inch VM9 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,260 Ă— 2,750 pixels, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, 459ppi pixel density and a P3 wide colour gamut. Vivo says the devices carry IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance.

At the hardware level, the V70 Elite is powered by an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm, clocked at up to 3GHz, and paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The standard V70 runs on a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip with a peak frequency of 2.8GHz, alongside 8GB of LPDDR5x memory and 256GB of internal storage.

Vivo has equipped the V70 series with Zeiss-optimised triple rear cameras. This includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera offering stabilisation, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 50MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls, and both handsets can shoot videos in up to 4K.

The smartphones are powered by 6,500mAh batteries and support 90W wired fast charging. Vivo has kept the design uniform, with both devices sharing identical dimensions of 157.52Ă—74.33Ă—7.59mm and weighing around 194g.

The Vivo V70 Elite comes equipped with a comprehensive set of sensors, ranging from an accelerometer and ambient light sensor to an e-compass, proximity sensor, colour temperature sensor, IR blaster, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

The standard V70 drops the IR blaster but adds a gyroscope instead. Both models support modern connectivity standards such as 5G, 4G LTE, NFC, USB Type-C, and a broad suite of satellite navigation services.
