Amid the introduction of 7,000mAh batteries on smartphones across different price segments, Realme has decided to push the envelope further. On Jan. 29, the Chinese phonemaker will launch Realme P4 Power that will be powered by a 10,001mAh battery - usually seen in niche devices.

This is said to be the first time when a mainstream smartphone will feature a 10,001mAh battery in India.

Being touted as "10,001mAh Titan Battery," the all new P4 Power is set to redefine endurance in the Indian smartphone market and easily outclasses heavyweights like OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R and others. This leap in battery capacity places Realme at the new benchmark for ultra-long usage.

In November last year, OnePlus launched its flagship OnePlus 15 smartphone with a massive 7,300mAh battery. A month later, the company pushed its boundaries further by presenting OnePlus 15R, which featured its "biggest battery ever" at 7,400mAh. Oppo came out with the Find X9 series, which included Find X9 Pro with a huge 7,500mAh battery.

Realme P4 Power: What To Expect?

Backed by a massive battery, Realme P4 Power is claimed to deliver around 32.5 hours of video streaming on a single charge. Gamers will be able to play BGMI for more than 11 hours. According to 91Mobiles, phones boasting 7,000mAh and above battery have become quite common in India since last year. However, moving past the 10,000mAh mark is rare, as it is usually seen in bulky devices, such as DOOGEE S200X that came out in 2024 with 10100mAh battery. With a weight of 219g, Realme has called P4 Power as the world's thinnest and lightest 10,001mAh smartphone.

Realme said P4 Power features a TransView Design that offers circuit-inspired patterns on the upper panel along with a matte finish on the lower half to provide better grip to users. It comes with a 144Hz HyperGlow 4D Curve+ display having a 1.5K resolution

The smartphone is expected to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset paired with the HyperVision+ AI chip. This means, users can expect wide range of AI features.

On the back, the device is tipped to have a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. It could also feature a 16MP front camera. The phone is being made available in three colours: TransOrange, TransSilver and TransBlue. It will be sold in India via Flipkart and the official Realme website.
