Before the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's formal unveiling, new leaks have provided a clearer picture of its colour options. Images of the phone's SIM card trays shared by a well-known tipster indicate that the S26 Ultra will probably be released in black, white, blue and purple. Orange, which was previously thought to be a colour for the model, is not included in the leak. As SIM trays resemble the phone's chassis, according to Android Authority, such leaks are usually a trustworthy indicator of the final colour options.
Orange Shade Absent From Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
The SIM trays reveal no indication of the orange colour option that was earlier expected for the S26 Ultra. The post by the tipster on X states, “The SIM card tray of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra reveals four colour options: black, white, blue, and purple.”
Another tipster stated that purple (violet) will be Samsung's hero colour for the Galaxy S26 Ultra variant.
These leaks match earlier reports regarding the colours of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to a leak on Jan. 1, the Galaxy S26 Ultra's four basic colour names are Black Shadow, White Shadow, Galactical Blue and Ultraviolet.
Orange may reportedly still be available as an exclusive option on Samsung.com or on other Galaxy S26 models.
Colour Leaks Align With Previous Galaxy S26 Hints
The leaked SIM tray colours align with prior leaks of Galaxy S26 series wallpapers. According to an earlier report in Android Authority in December 2025, those wallpapers hinted at multiple shades across the lineup, including blue, purple, and darker tones likely corresponding to the Ultra's black variant. The orange tone previously seen in wallpaper leaks does not appear to be carried over to the Ultra.
Marketing Focus Expected On Purple
Samsung usually highlights a single standout colour each year, and violet reportedly appears set to fill that role for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. If the leaks prove accurate, violet is expected to feature prominently in Samsung's marketing materials.
