Liverpool have emerged as England's top revenue-generating club in the Deloitte Football Money League 2026, posting Euros 836.1 million for the 2024/25 season and placing fifth globally - ahead of all Premier League rivals. The ranking underscores a notable power shift within English football's commercial landscape, with Manchester United falling to eighth worldwide - their lowest Money League position to date - despite total revenue of Euros 793.1 million.
At the top of the global rankings, Real Madrid once again lead the world in football revenues. The Spanish giants have been ranked as the highest revenue-generating club overall, having surpassed Euros 1 billion for the second consecutive year. Last season, Madrid became the first club in football history to breach the Euros 1 billion mark, and they have repeated the feat this year as well.
The latest publication marks the 29th edition of the Deloitte Football Money League, and for the first time ever, no Premier League club has appeared in the top four.
Although the top two positions are held by Spanish clubs - Barcelona ranked second with revenue of Euros 974 million - six English clubs feature prominently in the top 10.
Immediately behind Liverpool in the English standings are:
- Manchester City - Euros 829 million
- Arsenal - Euros 822 million
- Manchester United - Euros 793 million
- Tottenham Hotspur - Euros 672 million
- Chelsea - Euros 584 million
On the continental front, German champions Bayern Munich are ranked third globally, generating Euros 860 million, while Paris Saint-Germain, winners of the UEFA Champions League, sit just behind them with revenue of Euros 837 million.
According to Deloitte, the top 20 clubs collectively generated Euros 2 billion in revenue-a historic first since the firm began tracking financial performance across global football. All clubs in the top 20 are European.
Notably, the report also highlights the growing commercial threat posed by clubs in the Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer, noting that these teams "could pose a commercial challenge to Europe's leading clubs" in the years ahead.
