In the buildup of the match, Sooryavanshi spent sharpening his skills in the nets. During the team's net session, Sooryavanshi faced the team's premium pacer Jofra Archer. The right-arm quick bowled to the teenager at full tilt but the diminutive batter showed no fears as he swung his bat with power to deposit some of the balls into the stands.
Rajasthan Royals loved the mini tussle between its two players and recorded it on the camera to share it on social media.
Here is how Sooryavanshi hammered Archer for sixes
Sooryavanshi will be carrying happy memories of playing against Gujarat Titans because it is against them that he got propelled into stardom. Last season, when RR faced GT at the Sawai Man Singh stadium, Sooryavanshi hit 101 off 38 balls, with the century coming off only 35 deliveries.
The innings made him youngest centurion in men's T20 cricket and the batter with the second quickest IPL ton. The batter from Bihar hasn't looked back since then. He starred for India in the Under 19 World Cup earlier this year.
