Nifty Bank, Finance Hit Record Highs Led By Axis Bank, HDFC Bank

The NSE Nifty Bank rose 0.80% to reach a record high of 57,076.95, while the NSE Nifty Financial Services climbed 1.09% to a new peak of 27,144.4. This surge comes as markets recover from lows caused by the Israel-Iran conflict, with the HDB Financial IPO also gaining traction.

Among the top performers in the Nifty Bank index, AU Small Finance Bank saw its stock hit a high of Rs 820.75, rising by 1.7%. Axis Bank reached a high of Rs 1,232.5, up by 1.58%, while HDFC Bank touched Rs 2,006.8, increasing by 1.34%. ICICI Bank achieved a high of Rs 1,443.4, gaining 1.23%, and IndusInd Bank rose to Rs 836.5, up by 0.81%.

In the Nifty Financial Services index, Axis Bank surged to Rs 1,232.5, up by 2.75%. Bajaj Finserv reached Rs 2,043.9, increasing by 1.95%, and Bajaj Finance hit a high of Rs 9,53.5, rising by 1.86%. Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Co. climbed to Rs 1,621.2, up by 1.71%, while HDFC Asset Management Co. touched Rs 5,129.4, gaining 1.6%.

The rally comes as the domestic stock market continues to trade in green following the Israel-Iran ceasefire. The Nifty 50 hit an intraday high of 0.77%, trading at 25,437, reclaiming the 25,000-mark for the third straight session. Similarly, the Sensex rose by 0.76% to an intraday high, trading at 83,380.98.
