Mahanagar Gas Ltd. saw a 46% decline in its net profit for the fourth quarter of the fiscal 2025-26, according to an exchange filing from the company on Tuesday. The firm also declared a final dividend of Rs 18 per equity share, bringing the total dividend for the financial year 2025-26 to Rs 30. The natural gas distribution company had prevously announced an interim divided of Rs 12 per share.

The company's revenue saw a 5% YoY (year-on-year) uptick to Rs 2,052 crore from Rs 1,964 crore in the year ago period. Its Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) saw a 34% YoY decrease to Rs 260 crore from Rs 395 crore in the preceding financial year. The firm's Ebitda margin was at 12.7% YoY from 20.1 in the previous fiscal.

Mahanagar Gas Q3 Results 

Mahanagar Gas Ltd. saw a 10.4% YoY decline in standalone net profit at Rs. 201.97 crore for the third quarter of fiscal 2026. The company's net revenue rose 17% to Rs. 2,058.28 crore compared with the same period last year.

Ebitda increased 12% YoY to Rs.352.07 crore during the quarter under review. Its Ebitda margin was at to 17.10% YoY from 17.89% a year ago.

Share price of Mahanagar Gas saw a 1.11% downturn to Rs 1,179.80 at the end of the day's trade, compared to a 0.02% downturn of the NSE Nifty 50.
