Indian Rupee Ends Higher Against The U.S. Dollar

The Indian currency ended with gains against the U.S. dollar.

The local currency appreciated 61 paise to 82.12 against the greenback before trimming gains to close at 82.50 on Thursday. It opened at 82.15.

The rupee had ended at 82.73 on Tuesday. It had hit a record low of 83.29 on Oct. 20.
