Shares of multibagger brokerage firm Angel One Ltd are in focus on the back of the stock turning ex‑split. As part of the scheduled corporate action, each equity share with a face value of Rs 10 is being split into 10 shares with a face value of Rs 1 each.

The trading volumes of the stock have risen four times the 30-day average. Existing investors do not need to take any action—those holding one share will automatically receive nine additional shares, bringing their total to ten post‑split, without affecting the overall value of their investment.

This share subdivision has resulted in a corresponding adjustment in the stock price, as the market recalibrates for the increased number of outstanding shares. Stock splits of this nature typically enhance liquidity and improve affordability, making the shares more accessible and potentially attracting broader participation from retail investors.

This marks the company's first-ever stock split since its market debut in October 2020, when it raised Rs 600 crore through its IPO at an issue price of Rs 306 per share. Since listing, the stock has surged dramatically, delivering an impressive 715% return as of the previous close—an exceptional performance in under six years.

In a separate development, the company recently mobilized Rs 50 crore by issuing 5,000 non‑convertible debentures (NCDs) priced at Rs 1,00,000 each. The NCD issuance took place on Tuesday, February 24, further strengthening the company's capital base.
