As excitement builds ahead of Marvel's Spider-Man: Brand New Day, a massive Spider-Man billboard in Mumbai has grabbed the internet's attention. The 3D display, which creates the illusion of the superhero climbing over the billboard, has gone viral just days before the film hits theatres.

Spider-Man Billboard Goes Viral

Shared by an advertising agency called Chakli Art on their Instagram page, the 3D artwork shows Spider-Man in action, standing atop a towering billboard while using his web to catch a car suspended in mid-air, creating the illusion that the superhero is leaping out into the real world.

Shared with the caption, "We Had One Mission: Make Mumbai Stop and Stare. Reality or Rendered? You decide," the post quickly gained traction across Instagram, X and Reddit.

While many praised it as one of the film's most creative marketing campaigns, others questioned whether it was real. Some users identified the location, while others pointed out that the site features a digital billboard, speculating that the viral visual may have been created using CGI rather than being a physical installation.

The artwork is seemingly part of Sony Pictures India's ongoing Spider-Man Fan Art Contest, which gives participants a chance to win exclusive merchandise and attend the film's India premiere in Mumbai.

The viral campaign comes at a time when Spider-Man: Brand New Day is already generating huge buzz and fan theories online.
