Rains News LIVE: Heavy Rains Thrash Parts Of Delhi NCR

In its latest nowcast, the IMD said that light to moderate rainfall accompanied by a thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds at 30–40 kmph is likely at several places in Delhi and the NCR in the coming hours.

According to IMD data between 8.30 am and 11.30 am, the city’s primary weather station at Safdarjung recorded 56.2 mm of rainfall, while Lodhi Road logged 34.8 mm and Aya Nagar 11.8 mm.

Meanwhile, Mumbai's Eastern Freeway and Sion-Panvel highway remain closed due to a rally led by Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil. Patil, who began his march from Jalna district on Wednesday, entered the city this morning with a convoy of hundreds of vehicles.
