Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) is set to conduct its annual pre-monsoon maintenance work on Thursday, leading to temporary disruption to services.

In view of the scheduled maintenance work at two runways, the airport will remain closed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 8.

The development is expected to disrupt flight operations at the airport facility during the scheduled hours.

"Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has scheduled its annual pre-monsoon runway maintenance on 8 May, between 1100 hrs and 1700 hrs. During this time, both the primary runway 09/27 and secondary runway 14/32 will be temporarily non-operational," the airport authorities informed in a post on X.
