On Friday, October 16, the Delhi Traffic Police released a thorough notice warning commuters of possible traffic bottlenecks and dynamic diversions in central and south Delhi. The limits are a reaction to planned large-scale protests and the implementation of law-and-order measures in the vicinity of Connaught Place and the main administrative hallways.
Traffic authorities said restrictions, diversions or temporary closures could be imposed at 21 key intersections, roundabouts and major road stretches throughout the day, depending on on-ground conditions.
