Oil marketing companies have reduced the price of commercial LPG gas cylinders, with the new rates effective from June 1. The cost of a 19-kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been reduced by over Rs 24.
In Delhi, the price for commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi will now be Rs 1,723.50 from the earlier Rs 1,747.50, according to data on the Indian Oil Corp. website. The price in Mumbai has been reduced to Rs 1,674.50.
The price in Kolkata is now Rs 1,826, while in Chennai it has come down to Rs 1,881.
This is the third consecutive time that gas prices have been reduced. Earlier on May 1, oil companies had reduced the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 14.50. After this reduction, the price of LPG was Rs 1,747.50. On April 1 also, the price of commercial cylinder was reduced by Rs 41.
Besides, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders of 14.2 kg will remain unchanged. The 14.2 kg LPG cylinder is available for Rs 853 in Delhi, Rs 852.50 in Mumbai, Rs 879 in Kolkata and Rs 868.50 in Chennai.
