Adani Green Operationalises 1,000 MW Projects In Gujarat, Achieves Key Milestone

Adani Green Energy Ltd. on Monday operationalised an aggregate of 1,011.5 megawatt power projects at Khavda, Gujarat, taking its total operational renewable generation capacity to a record 15,539.9 MW.

The new capacity was added through various stepdown subsidiaries in solar, wind, and hybrid projects, according to an exchange filing.

The Adani Group company's operational portfolio includes 11,005.5 MW of solar, 1,977.8 MW of wind, and 2,556.6 MW of wind-solar hybrid capacity. "AGEL is the first and only renewable energy company in India to attain this landmark achievement, primarily through greenfield projects," a statement said.

The current capacity represents over 15% of India's utility-scale solar installations and 12% of utility solar and wind capacity. Adani Green added 3,309 MW in the financial year 2025.

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani lauded the operational milestone and said it "reflects our commitment to the planet and our resolve to drive India's green resurgence".
