(Bloomberg) -- Svante Paabo was awarded the Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine “for his discoveries concerning the genomes of extinct hominins and human evolution.”
Paabo will receive the 10 million-krona ($900,000) award, the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm said in a statement Monday.
