Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection: Allu Arjun's Film Earns Over Rs 800 Crore Worldwide In Opening Weekend

Pushpa 2: The Rule has been making waves at the box office across India and the world. The Allu Arjun starrer has grossed over Rs 800 worldwide in only four days of its release since Dec. 5.

In India, the film's net collection in the opening weekend was Rs 529.45 crore, as per industry tracker Saclink. Trade reports projected that the movie will cross over Rs 1,000 crore before completing its opening week in the theatres.

The stellar response for Pushpa 2 is coming particularly from the Hindi-speaking market. The Hindi version of the movie has outperformed the original version in Telugu. Pushpa 2 Hindi became the first to collect over Rs 80 crore nett in India in a day.

As per Saclink, Pushpa 2 collected Rs 141.5 crore in India on Sunday. Of this, Rs 85 crore nett collection was from the Hindi version, while the Telugu counterpart earned Rs 44 crore. The Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions collected Rs 9.5 crore, Rs 1.1 crore and Rs 1.9 crore respectively.

Over the four days, the Hindi version of Pushpa 2 has collected Rs 285.7 crore in India, with the Telugu version accumulating Rs 198.55 crore nett. The Tamil version, on the other hand, has seen a nett collection of Rs 33.1 crore in India.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh in a post on X on Monday said that Pushpa 2 has achieved "a historic milestone, recording the highest-ever single-day collection on Sunday."
