At first look, it appears similar to a common gardening tool, but it is presented as a high-end handbag. The design reflects an unconventional approach, turning an everyday object into a fashion item.
The bag is part of the Men's Spring/Summer collection and was created under the direction of Pharrell Williams. The collection is based on the theme of "nurturing growth".
The bag is priced at 36,000 yuan in China, which is over $5,000. For buyers in India, the price comes to approximately Rs 4,35,000.
A smaller version of the product has also been released. This mini version functions as a bag charm or accessory and is made of resin with decorative leather flowers. It is priced at 7,750 yuan, which is roughly Rs 90,000.
The design and price of the bag have led to strong reactions online, with many users criticising it.
