Royal Challengers Bengaluru have opened ticket sales for the Indian Premier League 2026 season opener, as the franchise prepares to step out as defending champions for the first time at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Last season, RCB beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final to seal their maiden IPL trophy. Virat Kohli (43) led with the bat, while player of the match Krunal Pandya (2/17) was the star with the ball.
The ill-fated trophy parade that followed, which resulted in 11 deaths and over 30 injuries outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, resulted in the stadium being barred from hosting games by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA). Since then, the franchise has invested heavily to implement added safety measures and gain approval to host five home matches at the venue, including the season opener.
Taking control over ticket sales themselves, RCB have said that, "Tickets will be available only through the official RCB website and app. Do not fall prey to fraudulent websites claiming to sell RCB tickets."
Here's a breakdown of everything you need to know to get your tickets.
