Silver rates in India have falled while gold prices are predicted to rise next week as investors flock to safe-havens like precious metals due to renewed trade tensions triggered by US President Donald Trump's tariff hike and escalating Middle East tensions, analysts tell PTI. Key economic data to watch include US PPI, consumer confidence, jobless claims, and China's lending rate decision, which could sway precious metal prices.
The gold rate in India on Monday is Rs 1,58,410 per 10 gms while the silver rate is Rs 2,38,940 per 1 kg, according the Bullions website.

In Mumbai, the financial heart of the country, 24-carat gold is retailing at approximately Rs 1,58,980 per 10 grams. Kolkata follows a similar trend, with its gold rate reported at Rs 1,57,920. Both cities are ahead of the national capital, Delhi, where the 24-carat rate currently stands at Rs 1,57,860.
The southern markets continue to record the highest figures in the country. Chennai leads the metros with a peak rate of Rs 1,58,590, while Hyderabad and Bengaluru follow closely at Rs 1,58,380 and Rs 1,58,250 respectively, keeping the price gap between the southern hubs and the northern capital distinct.
