Indian cricketer Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, tied the knot with entrepreneur Saaniya Chandhok in a grand wedding ceremony held in Mumbai on March 5. The celebrations, hosted at the luxury The St. Regis Mumbai in South Mumbai, brought together prominent personalities from cricket, Bollywood and the business circles.
Videos from the ceremony quickly surfaced on social media and went viral, capturing several emotional moments from the wedding. One widely shared clip showed Sachin Tendulkar smiling proudly as he showered flower petals on the newlyweds during the ceremony.
The star-studded guest list included former India captain MS Dhoni, who arrived with his wife Sakshi Dhoni. India head coach Gautam Gambhir also attended the ceremony along with his wife Natasha Jain.
Several legends of Indian cricket were present to bless the couple, including Sunil Gavaskar with wife Marshneil Gavaskar, Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Ravi Shastri, Yuvraj Singh with wife Hazel Keech, Irfan Pathan, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan with wife Sagarika Ghatge, and Harbhajan Singh with wife Geeta Basra.
Young cricketer Prithvi Shaw and former wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel with wife Avni Zaveri were also among the attendees. International Cricket Council chairman Jay Shah, chief selector Ajit Agarkar and former cricketer Venkatesh Prasad were also present.
The event also saw a strong Bollywood presence. Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arrived together and posed briefly for photographers, while Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan also attended the ceremony. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker and his wife Sunita Gowariker were also spotted among the guests.

Business leaders Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, along with Akash Ambani and Shloka Ambani, were closely involved in the celebrations.
Ahead of the wedding, the Tendulkar family reportedly extended invitations to several top dignitaries, including Narendra Modi and Droupadi Murmu.
The couple's wedding followed weeks of festivities, including a mehendi ceremony at Mahalaxmi Racecourse and a pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar hosted by the Ambani family. Arjun and Saaniya had earlier announced their engagement in August last year.
Saaniya Chandhok comes from a well-known business family and is the granddaughter of Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai. A graduate of the London School of Economics, she works as a veterinary technician and runs a luxury pet spa in Mumbai called Mr. Paws.
Meanwhile, Arjun has been steadily building his cricket career. After starting with Mumbai in domestic cricket, he moved to Goa for more opportunities. In the Indian Premier League, he was earlier part of the Mumbai Indians before being traded to the Lucknow Super Giants.
