With heavy rains continuing to batter Delhi-NCR region, several airlines issued advisories regarding flight delays and cancellations.
Air India on Friday alerted passengers about potential flight delays and cancellations. The airline also advised passengers to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the airline said that given the adverse weather conditions, significant traffic congestion was also expected on roads leading to the airport. The airline advised travellers to leave well in advance to ensure they reached the airport on time.

The airline said all flights scheduled to depart from Terminal 1 between 10 am and 2 pm on Friday have been cancelled. Heavy rains lashed Delhi early Friday, causing waterlogging on roads across the national capital and causing a portion of the roof of Delhi airport's Terminal-1 to collapse. One person died and five were injured in the roof collapse incident, Delhi Fire Services (DFS) officials said.
