OnePlus could be preparing to lift the curtain on the Nord 6 in the coming months, positioning it as the successor to the Nord 5. The smartphone has now made an early appearance on Geekbench, shedding light on its underlying hardware. The benchmark data points towards a stronger overall package than its predecessor. The Nord 6 is reportedly based on the OnePlus Turbo 6, a handset currently unavailable outside China.

Geekbench has added a new OnePlus device to its listings, identified by the model code CPH2795. According to Gadgets 360, this could correspond to the OnePlus Nord 6. The database entry points to a motherboard codenamed “sun”, widely associated with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. This processor, also seen in the OnePlus Turbo 6, features an eight-core CPU with its fastest core running at 3.21 GHz.

The Geekbench entry indicates the handset is equipped with 10.93 GB of memory, which typically points to a 12 GB RAM configuration. The same listing also suggests the device will run on Android 16.

The device, identified as OnePlus CPH2795, recorded 2,019 points in Geekbench's single-core benchmark and 6,503 points in the multi-core test. While these figures are respectable for a mid-range handset, they should be treated with caution, as the unit tested may not represent the final retail version, Gadgets 360 reported.

An official launch date for the OnePlus Nord 6 remains unannounced, but industry leaks have hinted at an early-year release. The phone's presence on Geekbench typically signals that a formal introduction could be imminent.

In addition, the device has been listed on the TUV database, pointing to 80 W wired charging, and has cleared multiple certification databases such as IMEI, SIRIM and TDRA.

As per a Gizbot report, the price of the OnePlus Nord 6 in India could start from under Rs 35,000.

The OnePlus Nord 6 was initially linked to the OnePlus Ace 6, a model limited to the Chinese market. Fresh details pointing to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset now lend greater weight to reports that the device is more closely aligned with the OnePlus Turbo 6.

The OnePlus Turbo 6 is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. It features a dual-camera setup on the rear alongside a 16 MP front-facing camera.
