Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 continues to draw audiences in its second week. The film's India gross collection has reached Rs 372.16 crore as of the evening of Day 9, according to box office tracker TrackTollywood.
Day 9 Collection So Far
On its second Friday, October 23, Jailer 2 had earned Rs 15.68 crore gross by 9:05 pm IST, according to TrackTollywood. The film ran in 11,392 shows across 1,217 cities, with an occupancy of 23.4 per cent. Its average ticket price for the day stood at Rs 194, while per-screen earnings were Rs 53,385. Final figures for the day are yet to come in.
Day 8 Collection
On Day 8, Thursday, October 22, the film collected Rs 18.18 crore gross from 14,145 shows across 1,306 cities, at 23.1 per cent occupancy. That was a 39.7 per cent fall from Day 7's Rs 30.15 crore. After eight days, the film's India gross stood at Rs 356.48 crore.
Milestones and Best Day
Jailer 2 crossed Rs 100 crore gross in India on Day 2, Rs 200 crore on Day 4 and Rs 300 crore on Day 6. Its biggest day so far remains its opening day, when it earned Rs 62.66 crore.
Top States and Cities
Tamil Nadu leads all states with a gross of Rs 130.57 crore and over 70.98 lakh tickets sold. Puducherry has recorded the highest occupancy among states, at 85.9 per cent.
Among cities, Bengaluru tops collections at Rs 51.56 crore gross, while Chennai has sold the most tickets, over 25.13 lakh. Karaikal has the highest city occupancy at 98.2 per cent.
Saturday Advance Bookings
For Saturday, October 24, the film has registered advance booking gross of Rs 11.60 crore, with 5,90,887 tickets sold across 11,792 shows in 2,878 theatres. Overall occupancy stands at 16.4 per cent, with 46 housefull and 1,121 fast-filling shows.
