Garden Reach Shipbuilders Q3 Results: Profit Jumps Nearly 75%, Dividend Of Rs 7.15 Declared

Garden Reach Shipbuilders Ltd. posted a net profit of Rs 171 crore in the quarter ended December, up nearly 75% as compared to Rs 98.2 crore in the year-ago period, according to the financial results declared by the company on Wednesday.

The defence manufacturer's revenue was up 49.1% at Rs 1,896 crore during the quarter under review, as compared to Rs 1,271 crore in the corresponding period of the last fiscal.

The company declared its second interim dividend at Rs 7.15 per equity share for for the financial year 2025-26, amounting to a total payout of Rs 81.90 crore. The record date to determine the eligible shareholders was fixed as Feb. 3.

The firm's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation was at Rs 172 crore compared to Rs 75.6 crore in the year-ago period. Its margin came in at 9.1%, as against 5.9% in the year-ago quarter.

Shares of Garden Reach Shipbuilders closed 5.13% higher to Rs 2,518.70 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.66% rise in the benchmark Nifty.
