Nifty and Sensex ended higher. Nifty 50 ended at 23,294.90, up 0.57% or 131.80 points and Sensex closed at 76,759.81, up 0.30% or 226.85 points.

On BSE, 14 advanced, and seven declined out of 21. BSE Consumer Durable declined the most, and the BSE Oil & Gas rose the most.

Market breadth was skewed in favour of buyers. Around 2,149 stocks advanced, 1,800 stocks declined, and 125 stocks remained unchanged on BSE.
