Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro, Hindustan Unilever, NTPC and ITC dragged the Nifty the most.

Sectors Ending Red

Ten out of the 12 sectors on the NSE closed lower, with the Nifty Media and FMCG leading the losses.
