How To Use WhatsApp's Undo 'Delete For Me' Feature?

After choosing "Delete for me", you have 5 seconds to undo this action by clicking Undo before the message is permanently deleted.

WhatsApp's Latest Feature

WhatsApp has introduced a new feature allowing users to undo "Delete for me" actions. This feature helps retrieve accidentally deleted messages within a short window.

Step 1: Open the Chat

Start by opening the chat list or conversation on WhatsApp with the person or business whose messages you want to manage.

Step 2: Select Messages

Long press on the messages you wish to delete. This action will highlight the selected messages.

Step 3: Delete Messages

Click on the bin icon at the top of the app and choose "Delete for me." A pop-up will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4: Undo Deletion

Within five seconds, select the "Undo" option from the pop-up to recover the messages. Remember, this option is only available for a brief period after deletion. If you choose "Delete for everyone," the undo option will not be available.
