Here's how the stock markets fared on Thursday.
The NSE Nifty 50 ended 369.85 points or 1.64% up at 22,967.65 and the S&P BSE Sensex was 1,196.98 points or 1.61% up at 75,418.04.

HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, Larsen & Toubro and Axis Bank led the gains in the Nifty.

The market breadth was skewed in favour of the sellers as 2,010 stocks declined, 1,822 rose and 113 remained unchanged on the BSE.
