Natco Pharma Q3 net rises 32 per cent to Rs 30 crore

Natco Pharma on Thursday posted a 32.27 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 29.88 crore for the third quarter that ended on December 31, 2013.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 22.59 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year (FY13).

Net sales of the company rose to Rs 186.18 crore during the quarter under review, as compared to Rs 157.78 crore in the corresponding period in FY13, Natco Pharma said in a filing to the BSE.

The company's board, which met on Thursday, also recommended an interim dividend of Rs 5 per equity share, payable on March 6, 2014.

Shares in Natco Pharma, on Thursday, ended at Rs 743.80 apiece on the BSE, down 3.14 per cent from the previous close.
