Vistara Announces Sale On Many Routes, Tickets From Rs 999

Vistara has not disclosed the number of tickets under the 'celebration offer'.

Vistara on Wednesday announced a "celebration offer", starting all-inclusive tickets from Rs 999 on economy class travel.

The Vistara offer is open till November 25 and is applicable for travel period between December 5, 2016 and October 1, 2017. 

The Rs 999 Vistara offer, for example, is available for Srinagar-Jammu route. 

Vistara has not disclosed the number of tickets under the "celebration offer". 

Delhi-Mumbai (Rs 2,149), Bengaluru-Kolkata (Rs 2,340) and Delhi-Goa (Rs 3,099) are some of the other routes covered under this offer.
 
Vistara is a joint venture between Tata Sons Limited and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) with Tata Sons holding the majority stake of 51% in the company.

Other carriers like SpiceJet, IndiGo, AirAsia India, GoAir and Jet Airways have already announced their promotional offers.

The promotional offers by airlines have helped spur a strong demand in domestic air travel.

Passengers carried by domestic airlines during January to October 2016 surged to 813.70 lakh, a growth of over 23 per cent over the same period last year.
