IndiGo Sells Tickets At Rs 1,111 On Its 11th Anniversary Sale

IndiGo has announced a limited period offer with tickets starting at Rs 1,111 to mark its 11th anniversary. The IndiGo's special five-day offer is available on bookings made 15 days prior to travel. The offer comes into effect from August 2 and will be valid till August 6 for travel between August 21 and March 24 next year. Under the scheme, Srinagar-Delhi fares are priced Rs 1,611, Delhi-Udaipur at Rs 1,411, Delhi-Mumbai at Rs 1,911, Mumbai-Muscat at Rs 5,711 and Mumbai-Doha at Rs 7,011. The offer is available on first-come-first serve basis and non-refundable.

This offer is valid only on select non-stop flights from cities including Agartala, Amritsar, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dubai, Goa, Guwahati, Kolkata, Pune, Visakhapatnam and Singapore.

"The offer is applicable on all our booking channels," IndiGo added. Tickets being sold from Rs 1,111 included flights from Goa to Bengaluru, Agartala to Guwahati, Bagdogra to Kolkata, Chennai to Bengaluru, Chennai to Coimbatore, Delhi to Amritsar and Delhi to Jaipur, according to IndiGo's website.

Indian aviation market is among the fastest growing in the world with lower fares spurring demand for air travel. Air passenger traffic rose 19.98 per cent to 95.68 lakh in June, as against 79.75 lakh in June 2016, data furnished by aviation regulator DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) showed.
